What dishes do maple carrots go with?
Instant Pot Maple Glazed Carrots are AMAZING when paired with any kind of classic, homestyle cooking like mashed potatoes, beef roast, steak and stuffing. Maple Carrots are a great side dish for Thanksgiving dinner!
Since these carrots are sweet, they can go with any kind of savory main dish. This can give you a quick and easy complement to any dinner you make!
Are maple glazed carrots healthy?
Make sure that you use “pure” maple syrup to make this dish healthier. There are a lot of additives like corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup that are put into artificial syrup which can cause weight gain, liver problems and diabetes. The “pure” maple syrup is only made of one ingredient; maple tree sap that is boiled down to a thicker consistency.
So be aware of the kind of maple syrup you buy. I think the pure maple syrup tastes much better anyways, so it’s the right way to go for your syrup needs.
Carrots are also low in fat and contain many vitamins that are essential to your health like Vitamin A, B6, C and E. My mom always told me to eat my carrots because it will help you see better.
It’s amazing that Instant Pot Maple Carrots can taste like candy while still being very good for you.
How long can maple carrots be stored?
Instant Pot Maple Carrots can be stored in an air-tight container and placed in the fridge for up to four days. You could also freeze them in freezer bags for up to six months.
You can reheat the carrots by putting them in the microwave at 30 second intervals, or place them on the stove top in a sauce pan with a little bit of butter so it won’t stick. Don’t heat them for too long otherwise they could over cook. Just heat until they are warm enough to your liking.

Why use the Instant Pot sauté function?
The first reason is one of the most striking one for me. By using the sauté function, you can reduce the amount of dirty dishes in the kitchen! This can allow you to do your searing, frying and sautéing in the same pot that you do your pressure or slow cooking. It’s so nice to have more time to enjoy with your family rather than washing dishes.
Another reason is that by using the same pot sauté and pressure/slow cooking, you can preserve the flavors that would otherwise be lost by transferring from pan to pan. This will make your meal taste so much better.
