Fruit Dip with Cool Whip
This Cool Whip-based fruit dip is so delicious – and, quite honestly, addictive! Whenever we put it out at a family gathering, people comment on how they just can’t stop eating it.
The best part is how easy it is – it only has three ingredients, and the flavors just combine together so nicely.
If you are looking for the fruit dip to rule them all – look no further. You are sure to love it.
Ingredients
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 8 ounce container cool whip
- 1 15 ounce can Coco Lopez Cream of Coconut
- 1 small container strawberry yogurt
Should I use frozen or defrosted Cool Whip?
Definitely use defrosted cool whip – it will be MUCh easier to mix.
Where can I find Coco Lopez?
I always find it in the drink section at our local King Sooper (Kroger) store. It’s usually by the mixed drink products, though, don’t worry – no alcohol!
You can also buy it on Amazon, but it is much less expensive in store!
What should I do about chunks?
Sometimes Coco Lopez does have some chunks. I would recommend pre-mixing it so the solid and liquid parts are combined before mixing with the rest of the ingredients.
What if I don’t have strawberry yogurt?
Because this recipe is so simple, you can really customize this with your family’s favorites. Don’t have strawberry yogurt? Use vanilla or blueberry! You can even lighten it up by using Greek yogurt. Of course, the flavor will be a little different, but I promise it won’t be any less delicious.

All of the ingredients are naturally gluten free. When you’re shopping, just check the labels of your ingredients to make sure that they are not processed in a plant that also processes gluten products.
Help! I’ve made too much. Can I freeze it?
Fruit dip doesn’t last very long in our house, but on the off chance your family won’t eat it all in 7 days, don’t worry! Pour the remaining fruit dip into an ice cube tray, and freeze.
