Mashed Potatoes Recipe with Garlic
Is there anything more classic than mashed potatoes?
When I think about Sunday dinners growing up, I always think of roast beef, gravy, and, of course, mashed potatoes.
And the mashed potatoes were always my favorite. I don’t know what it is about having a pile of buttery potatoes covered in gravy…but it’s just so comforting.
There are many different ways to make mashed potatoes, but this recipe is delicious. It has garlic, sour cream, and butter, which all combine together for a memorable and fantastic flavor.
I usually use Russet potatoes instead of other kinds, which always seem to turn out well.
Many mashed potato recipes include milk or heavy cream, but I think omitting that dairy helps for a fluffier and more delicious mashed potato.
