Easy Baked Stuffed Apples Recipe
This easy and delicious stuffed apple recipe is a fun twist to the fall fruit that everyone loves during the colder months. Stuff your apples with cinnamon and pecans to make an easy fall dessert.
How to make Baked Stuffed Apples
All you have to do is cut the top of the apple off and then cut the core out of the middle of the apple. Then, fill in or stuff the cut apples with a prepared mixture of apples, pecans, cinnamon, and sugar. Bake them, and just like that, you have a wonderful seasonal dessert!
Are baked apples healthy?
Yes! As the saying says “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Apples are a healthy fruit even when cooked. Apples are high in fiber, especially when you leave the skin on them. They are also packed with all kinds of vitamins.
Since apples have natural sugars in them, they are a great tasty alternative to sugary snacks. If you want to make this recipe even healthier, feel free to leave out the sugar. Sugar enhances the taste of the apples, but it will still taste yummy.

How do you pick the best apples?
If you buy your apples from the grocery store, make sure they are firm, in good shape without nicks, bruises or holes, and be aware of what kind of apples you are buying. Color is an important indicator for taste, so make sure you get apples with a full, vibrant color. For this recipe, I recommend that you use Jonagold apples.
