If you love a baked potato and you love nachos then you are going to love these.

What are Texas Cheese Fries?

Texas Cheese Fries are served as an appetizer in your local Chili’s restaurant. They are crispy steak fries topped with melted cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions, and jalapenos.

What are the best fries to use for Texas Cheese Fries?

We would suggest using frozen steak fries for this recipe. You can find them in the frozen section of any grocery store. They are the best for cheese fries because they are thicker and larger than normal shoe string french fries making it easier to load them with yummy ingredients.

You could also make your own steak fries with potatoes if you would prefer. Just be sure to bake them and make sure they are fully cooked or fried before assembling your Texas Cheese Fries for this recipe.
