Game Day Recipes
Game days are a great opportunity to gather around a television in your home and enjoy family, food, and football – or whatever sport you’re really into. I enjoy watching the Super Bowl like almost everyone else.
Plus, I watch some college football, college basketball, MLS, Premier League, NBA, NHL, and whatever looks interesting when I have some time. In my family growing up, Duke and Carolina basketball games were king.
Now it seems like BYU football and Colorado Rockies baseball get people together. Whatever sport or game it is for you and your friends and family, I’m sure you’ll agree that good food that you eat while watching practically turns a gathering into a party!
Another thing that happens when people know that you’ll have good food on game day, is that more people will stay and stop by. It really is all about connecting with people you care about and making good memories.
The best food is homemade.
No one’s going to be very excited about a bunch of microwaved, only fit for a frat house, highly processed snack food that you obviously didn’t put any effort into making.
Here are some delicious recipes that I hope will make your next game day gathering great!
