Looking for a delicious Christmas punch recipe that’s non-alcoholic? This recipe has got you covered! It has an amazing combination of pomegranate, limeade, and sprite, and it’s a drink the whole family will enjoy! This is a copycat version of California Adventure’s Navidad Punch.
Navidad Punch
Last year, Forrest and I went to Disneyland and California Adventure during the Festival of Food.
I will admit I didn’t love all the food, but there was one drink I had that I couldn’t stop thinking about.
We had just gotten off of the Wheel of Emotions (where we got stuck in the hot sun), and I was totally parched.
Forrest saw “Navidad Punch” and thought it would be rather refreshing, so we bought some.
Oh my. I couldn’t get enough of it, and it’s all I thought about during the rest of the trip.
I was sad we didn’t have park hopper passes because when we went to Disneyland the next day, I couldn’t go back and get some.
So, of course, I had to come up with a copy cat version.
I tested this over and over until I found what felt *almost* perfect.
The sign at California Adventure said that it contained Simply Limeade, Apple Juice, and Pomegranate syrup.
I tried this a couple of times but felt like it needed a little something else, so I added Sprite as well and that seemed perfect.
The drink we had in the park was darker than ours ended up being, so I think that might had to do with the kind of pomegranate syrup they used. When I made the individual serving, that was similar in color to the one in the park. You may want to add a bit more pomegranate to the large punch recipe below!
I have come up with an individual serving of this punch that fits perfectly in a 16-ounce glass, as well as one that you can serve at a party!
What brands did you use for this punch?
For this recipe, I used the following brands:
- Torani Pomegranate Syrup
- Simply Balanced Organic Apple Juice
- Simply Limeade
- Lemon Lime Sprite
The drink at California Adventure specifically says Simply Limeade, which is why I bought that brand. I just chose the apple juice based on price and brand.
Forrest felt like the pomegranate syrup that California Adventure used was thicker than the Torani brand. I’m not sure if it makes a big difference, but here are a couple of other options:
Where do you find green cherries?
The drink we got also came with a green cherry. I bought some on Amazon, but honestly, I don’t think they taste very good…so don’t feel like you have to buy them. If you do want them for visual effects – here is the brand I bought. Forrest found them at the grocery store but they are pretty seasonal.

Can this be served slushed?
Yes! I think this would be a great punch to put in the freezer until it’s slushy and then serve it that way. YUM!
You could also just freeze the juice or soda and then add it that way to make it more slushy.
Can I add Alcohol?
Sure! I don’t drink alcohol, so I can’t provide any recommendations. But you can certainly add some – use your favorite alcohol for punches!
