How to make Santa Hat Donuts
It’s Christmas time again! Although 2020 has brought hard times to everyone, this Christmas season can be a great opportunity to find some positivity in the world. Holiday traditions can bring about some much needed normalcy and many of my family’s holiday traditions involve food.
There is something sweet about making holiday treats and desserts that makes my heart swell. Of course eating them is the best part. Holiday treats can be a bad thing though if you eat too much, like I seem to do every year. It’s fine though; December is for eating, January is for working it off.
This recipe for Santa Hat Donuts is so simple, takes only a couple ingredients, and is so cute and delicious. It will put you and your family in the holiday spirit.
What kind of donuts are best to use?
I would recommend using any kind of donut hole rom the store! They are smaller and the perfect fit for these hats. Make sure they are powdered sugar covered! Choose whatever brand you like most.
How can you serve these?
These are good to eat as-is so just serve them up on a plate and dig in! These are also great treats to give to neighbors or family members as a Christmas treat to show them that you care.
These can be a fun treat for Christmas parties, family get-togethers, game night, and any other gatherings you do during the holidays. These can also be a fun addition to your gingerbread houses. Feel free to have fun with it!

How can I store this recipe?
You can just wrap this in plastic wrap and place it in the fridge. I would eat this pretty soon after though because the strawberries should be chilled, while a chilled donut loses moisture, loses taste, and becomes stale.
