How to make Garlic and Bacon Kale
A lot of people have a love/hate relationship with kale, although it’s mostly hate if we’re being honest. Part of the reason is that kale is difficult to use. People have tried putting it in smoothies or using it as a garnish, and that helps a lot, but what about the times you want more than just one stalk of kale.
Fortunately, this garlic and bacon kale recipe will be another kale-based meal to put in your repertoire. Kale is one of the most nutritious foods you can eat and with the added garlic and bacon from this recipe, it won’t even taste like kale…so even your pickiest eaters will love it!

Can kale be frozen?
Kale can be frozen, but you shouldn’t keep it in your freezer for more than four to six weeks. If you buy a bag of frozen kale, it will usually last a lot longer, more in the range of eight to twelve months.
What is kale good for?
Kale is one of the best foods for providing nutrients like vitamin C and K, calcium, iron, fiber, and antioxidants. The antioxidants in kale can help your body remove toxins caused by environmental pressures and natural processes.
You should keep in mind that there are mild “side effects” of kale. Kale has large amounts of indigestible fiber, which makes it hard for your stomach to handle in large amounts. If you consume large amounts of kale everyday, you can also experience bloating, constipation, and stomach pain. The good news is that this garlic and bacon kale recipe won’t cause these side effects for you, so eat away!
