I recently discovered it and believe me when I say it is going to be my new go-to dish when going to a party.
Some people have been known to call it “crack dip” or “hot dirty dip”- which is pretty telling in and of itself!
This Cream Cheese Bacon Cheddar Dip is the perfect combination because it is so fast to put together and it is so easy to make. You could even involve your kids in putting it together, too.
This would be a great side dish to bring to any party! I love any excuse to make it- whether it is for a New Year’s Eve bash, Christmas Eve dinner or Easter celebration.
And let’s be honest- I think it’s acceptable to make on any day of the week, too.

The wonderful thing about this dip is how you can serve so many things with it!
You can dip crackers, veggies, bread, and tortilla chips with it. Anything that sounds tasty to you.

Substitutions
This recipe calls for mayonnaise, while I haven’t substituted it for anything you could use sour cream, miracle whip or greek yogurt.
If you’re in a pinch- bacon bits or pre-cooked bacon crumbles could work, too.
If you don’t have sharp cheddar cheese or prefer something else- go ahead and you whatever you would like.

Ingredients:
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
- 5 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 Ranch dressing mix packet
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup milk
Instructions:
Place the cream cheese, bacon, and cheddar cheese in a large skillet. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring to combine as the cheeses melt.
When the cheese is melted, add the ranch mix, mayonnaise, and milk. Stir to combine.
Pour into a serving dish and garnish with extra shredded cheese, chopped bacon, and parsley flakes (optional).
